limah awarded the City of Madinah wayfinding masterplan. Residents and tourists alike in the Holy City of Madinah will soon be able to find their way with ease throughout the ancient and complicated city, thanks to Wayfinding Masterplan being developed by limah. Madinah has undergone massive changes over the past few months by redeveloping the Central Area into a tourist and Islamic heritage destination. Madinah is home to Al Masjid Al Nabawi (The Prophets Mosque), and is considered of tremendous value having a place in the heart of every Muslim due to it also being the burial place of the Prophet Mohammed. Muslims come from all over the world to visit the city, pray in the mosque and visit other significant sites in the city.

Pilgrims from 180 different nationalities every year make the journey from Madinah to Makkah with visitors typically staying in Madinah for 8-10 days. The City accommodates up to five million visitors during peak times. A large number of pilgrims choose to stay in Madinah’s Central Area due to its numerous hotels, malls, and restaurants.

limah will provide the complete wayfinding masterplan, including Brand Strategy & Identities, design and implementation of signage, environmental graphic design and develop a street address system, building numbers with street names.
