Positioned at the southern gateway of Expo 2020 Dubai, the Mobility Pavilion, one of Expo’s three signature pavilions, was conceived as a place of movement, exchange, and forward momentum.
The wayfinding strategy was developed in direct response to the pavilion’s architecture, spatial hierarchy, and operational model. Movement patterns were shaped by the Expo wide ticketing strategy, where visitors could approach the pavilion from multiple directions without requiring a separate entry ticket.
The resulting wayfinding strategy supports smooth movement through one of Expo 2020 Dubai’s most complex and heavily visited environments. Visitors are guided with confidence, operational requirements are met without visual clutter, and the pavilion’s role as a place of progress and connection is reinforced through a clear and considered navigation experience.
